360 controller for the computer?

Ive seen people plug their 360 controller up to their computer and play games without the 360 but the computer, any idea how this si done?

Usually you must have a game downloaded to your Computer that is only for Xbox. Then when you start up the game on your Computer, just plug in your controller and play.

If you plug your wired 360 controller into the usb slot in your computer, the computer recoginzes it as a joypad controller. having 10 buttons to command including the d-pad, and left and right joysticks, Although the left and right triggers dont respond .

I use my 360 controller to play games on my laptop. orange box and call of duty.

Yeah you just download the pack from microsoft and you can use your pad, camera and headset.
It's pretty good man..
